Slim Thug is a Houston staple, one of the most prominent rappers from the city.
Slim Thug has released a bunch of indie projects in the past two years or so and he’s continuing the grind with another new album this month, titled The World Is Yours.
After releasing four albums last year in his Hogg Life series, he took most of 2017 off, but returns with The World Is Yours. With notable features from Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Paul Wall and more this album is set to be one of his best albums. As a defacto ambassador to Houston, he has done a ton of work for the community from mentoring, providing construction services, and was recently on Anthony Bourdain’s show that featured the city of Houston.
This time, the Houston rapper is taking things a bit more seriously as he’s got some bigger names as usual as guest appearances on the project — Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., Paul Wall and more. The album is hitting stores December 15th, the same day we’re getting new albums from Eminem, Boosie Badazz, G-Eazy, Jeezy and N.E.R.D. Check out the full tracklisting below.
